Sunny - Office Manager,
My dad was a career Air Force officer, so I grew up moving with my family about every four years. I think the fact that I was constantly saying goodbye to friends made me more interested in meeting new people. So here I am, meeting new people all the time, and seeing patient "friends" that I've grown to know over the years.
I've been happily married since 1984 years to Sam, loving husband and my best friend. We both love animals and currently round out our little family unit with our big, black, furry and funny doggie named, Milo (aka, Boo-boo). We enjoy gardening, getting our hands dirty and watching the flowers bloom, the veggies ripen, and sharing them with the neighbors, birds, and squirrels. Living on open space in Louisville offers us plenty of wildlife to enjoy, including the occasional week-end race runners sometimes wearing tutus and other weird running attire.
I've had the wonderful privilege of working for Dr. Birnbach since 1987 and have enjoyed watching the practice grow ... and us grow up. |

Mary Ann - Receptionist,
So far I have only been with Mark's BoulderSmiles team since May of 1998.
I am a mother of (3) married children and they have blessed me with (6) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild. I am 70+
years young - Originally from the mid west. I enjoy the beauty and the history of Colorado and getting together with friends. |
Aleana - Assistant,
I relocated to Colorado from California approximately 5 years ago
and joined the Birnbach Team in October 2006. I moved to Colorado with my only daughter Alyx, to be closer to family in Longmont. Prior to our move I worked for a very Large dental Group, the Vandenberg Air Force Base
Dental Squadron.
I have been a Dental Assistant since January 1997, and have explored all areas of dentistry but have come to love the cosmetic dentistry the best. In my spare time I enjoy movies, Denver Night Life, and the ever changing
colors of Colorado. |

Kim - Hygienist,
I am very happy to be back caring for the patients I've grown up with, since first starting on Dr. Birnbach's team in 1989. I attained my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Colorado in 1988, and also received the American Dental Hygiene Association Award for Clinical Excellence.
I take great pride in offering gentle and thorough dental care and believe it is the basis for whole body health.
When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my high school sweetheart and husband, Rob, and my two wonderful sons, Kellen and Cole.
I also enjoy running, reading, tap dancing, learning guitar and
creating glass art with my friends. |

Indiana is my home state. My son. Nicholas, 6'6" and I moved to
Boulder in 1984 after I completed my graduate work at I.U. My associate in Dental Hygiene
and BS are also from there. Denny, my retired husband rescues BIG DOGs, Great Pyrenees, with BIG DOGS HUGE PAWS. I work to pay for the food they inhale.
Our other pet, Mr. T, the turtle, has been living in ourt bathtub. Son Mikel, 6'8" lives in Alaska and makes sure his little buddy has lots of salmon to eat. Estes Park is our second home. The quiet river
atmosphere is a dream come true. All in all life is good. |

Jenna - Assistant,
I'm a twenty something year old Colorado Native who comes from a large family. Its safe to say that any spare time I have I'm usually spending it with my loved ones, my fiancé Dillon or shopping. Dillon and I just recently built and bought our first home together, it's been a great experience and my cooking skills are getting better meal by meal. I have been in Dentistry since 2007 and have been working with Dr. Birnbach and his team since 2008.
I enjoy meeting new people and seeing people smile
so dentistry is the place to be. |
