Sunny - Office Manager,
My Dad was a career Air Force officer, so I grew up moving with my family about every 4 years. I think the fact that I was constantly saying goodbye to friends made me more interested in meeting new people. So here I am, meeting new people all the time and seeing patient "friends" that I've gotten to know over the years.
I’ve been happily married for over 27 years to Sam (loving husband and best friend) and loving animals we currently round out our little family unit with our big, black, furry and funny 3 year old dog named Milo. We also enjoy gardening, getting our hands dirty and watching the flowers bloom, the veggies ripen and sharing them with the birds, squirrels and neighbors.
I’ve had the wonderful privilege of working for Dr Birnbach (Mark) for 24 years and have enjoyed watching the practice grow and us grow up.

Aleana - Assistant,
I relocated to Colorado from California approximately 5 years ago
and joined the Birnbach Team in October 2006. I moved to Colorado with my only daughter Alyx, to be closer to family in Longmont. Prior to our move I worked for a very Large dental Group, the Vandenberg Air Force Base
Dental Squadron.
I have been a Dental Assistant since January 1997, and have explored all areas of dentistry but have come to love the cosmetic dentistry the best. In my spare time I enjoy movies, Denver Night Life, and the ever changing
colors of Colorado. |

Diana - Hygienist,
I am a passionate, enthusiastic person who loves family, friends, cooking, gardening, reading and practicing Dental Hygiene (even after three decades). My family includes: Terry, husband of 21 years, daughter Christina, son-in-law Noah, grandkids, Sam and Amelia, and the perpetual puppy, Belle.
I have shot black powder rifles competitively, cooked gourmet meals on the tailgate of a pick up, made doll clothes for two generations, jewelry for friends, and spoiled two laboradors. Having mastered THE chocolate cake, hot fudge sauce and dill pickles, I'm looking at bread baking, growing better roses and improving my fly casting and sporting clays shooting. In my spare time I work!
To sum it up, I love helping, sharing and learning. My 94 year old father told me you could learn something new everyday, if you let yourself. Still short of the 94 year old mark and still learning! |
My dental hygiene education was completed at Indiana University. Husband, Denny is retired. My two sons are grown. Mikel lives in Alaska and Nick is in Indiana. Denny and I rescue Great Pyrenees dogs. I need to work to pay for the food they inhale! My other pet, Mr. T., has been living in our bathtub for twenty-five years. Estes Park is our second home. The quiet river atmosphere is a dream come true. All in all, life is good.

Mary Ann - Receptionist,
So far I have only been with Mark's BoulderSmiles team 13 1/2 years.
I am a mother of (3) married children and they have blessed me with (6) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild. I am 75 years young - Originally from the mid west. I enjoy the beauty and the history of Colorado and getting together with friends. |
Jenna - Assistant,
I’m a 24 year old Colorado Native who comes from a large family, its safe to say that any spare time I have I’m usually spending it with my loved ones, my boyfriend Dillon or shopping. Dillon and I just recently built and bought our first home together, its been a great experience and my cooking skills are getting better meal by meal.
I have been in Dentistry for about 4 and a half years now and have been working with Dr. Birnbach and his team for about 3 and a half years. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing people smile so dentistry is the place to be. |
